The first time I snorkelled was in Hurghada in the Red Sea in 1992 and I was hooked.
I learnt to scuba dive in the temperate waters of Melbourne in 1993 and since then I have been lucky enough to dive in many exotic locations around the world. I am now a qualified SSI Dive Controller and a PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Underwater Photography Specialty Instructor.
I completed an Advanced Diploma in Photography from Photography Studies College in Melbourne in 2009.
In 2010, after more than 20 years working in IT, I decided to change career and location and combine my love of scuba diving with photography and became an underwater photographer in Far North Queensland.
My interests lie not only in capturing the amazing diversity of the marine environment but also in creating memorable underwater portraits in swimming pools or the open ocean.
